Well, here's a gift to everyone. The website is running again! In all honesty, it seems a bit early, but there's a lot to prepare for before the season can finally kick off! An event that is coming up is the Freshmen Round Up Day. Think of this as drafting, how professional leagues would do it. So, really, this event does mark the beginning of another great season. I encourage you to go, and help will always be welcome! It is on April 4th, from 6PM - 8PM.

For those who have not been informed, today was the Goodwill Fundraising Fundraiser! The fundraiser works by filling two trucks up with items and depending on which truck, filling it up a certain amount will get the team a certain amount. If that was too confusing, know that the truck with clothes and random items is worth $1500 when full. The truck that carries furniture and bigger contributions is worth $900 when full. When I visited at 11:00AM, both of the trucks were a third of the way full! That equates to $800! Good job, everyone!

Also, one last announcement. If you're on the home page, you might've noticed that the rest of the page is missing past content. Don't worry, all that past content has been transfered to the archival website. The link will be given at the bottom of this entry.

Thank you for reading! In about a week, there will be another post concerning the development of the website, and further ideas.

First off, the goal for the fundraiser was to raise $500 from washing cars off of Yorba Linda Blvd. That's equivalent to 100 cars, and if you really count them, that's a lot. Starting at approximately 12:00 PM, we started washing cars. Our first car was Taylor Pham's white Mercedes that sparkled like new after our careful wash! After that, cars just started pouring in, and at around 1:00, we had no choice but to make two lanes! No one complained though, and the Mustangs worked twice as hard to finish washing all the cars! On the side, there were hot dogs for sale, and a nice lounge area in the shade! Over on Yorba Linda Blvd, Mustangs were waving people in by the handful, and the end results certainly showed that. Overall, the experience was new and of course, lots of fun! 100 degree weather and water mixes quite well. After our last car, a purple BMW, the team packed up and went home satisfied - a good reason to be too. In total, we raised $990, almost double of what we had expected to get! What more could we ask for? Looking forward to a second car wash with the Mustangs!

A great turnout as always as the team further implements Lampost Pizza as the team's traditional fundraiser/eatery.

The Yorba Linda Cross Country team had raised well over $700 at the Yard Sale last Saturday on July 9th. With all 700 of those dollars going to proceeds that will honor late Coach Kisner for all that he's contributed to the team and to Christine Stevens, a cross country mom bravely fighting cancer. Relay for life starts in three weeks.
